Hi All,
Last year was ,full on !!! , A looooong list of goals, with it came highs and lows of mile stones, hunger demons, snack demons, low energy demons, lack of sleep demons, sugar demons , lazy demons, lack of motivation demons, denial demons, excuse demons, etc etc .... IN that list was exercise , but alas, exercise had not been top priority, as I was wanting to deal with main reason I always slip back, and never follow through to goal weight, it was my" MIND DEMON". once my head was in the right zone, all the other things on the list followed through, not ALL the time but more consistently than ever before , the one thing that was left behind was my exercise routine ..
This year is set aside for "EXERCISE DEMON",with all the other things on last yrs list of course ! as they work hand in hand, this yr I am looking at my body shape, form, and fitness..362 days to GO !!.. The last 3 days have been amazing, GYM is my friend, once again, I set up my home gym in another room in the house, and added a fan, as Brisbane's humidity is crazy and unbearable, one does not want to move an inch when it is so humid, but I have done three days in a row, 45 minutes, of HARD CORE , sweat, grunting and heavy breathing and of course litres of water, hahaha , hubby has been home ,and has been hearing all these sounds coming from the gym area, and has a good chuckle shakes his head and walks away.. When you got your earphones on and you in your zone, nothing else matters hahaha..I know with all that head shaking and chuckling he is proud of me for pushing through the heat and doing it , Consistency is key for me this year, my mini goal for January is to be toned in my calf area , biceps and muffin top ,which is not such a muffin top anymore ,more like a deflated balloon, hahahahah,not desirable at all.. but not for long.!!!!. This is going to be a hard one to overcome, as my mind is not strong in this endurance area when it comes to cardio , running is not my strong point, I love swimming ,hiking, tennis, badminton, scuba, anything that keeps my mind distracted and off the muscle burn and hard work, hahaha, running is a zone where your mind needs to be strong, as you doing the same thing all the time pushing yourself to a stronger fitter point , this will be my demon to face, mentally , I do not do well with lactic acid burn, but gotta face it .. So wishing you all a gr8 2015 ,and hoping your challenges for this yr are a success .. CHAT LATER ..
oh yes !! nearly forgot ,LAST blog entry, I "thought " I might have put on 2kg, yup. sure did!!, but in the last 3 days I have lost it !! ,so I KNOW exercise is what my body needs, for weight loss success ,need to see the 80's mark this yr and hopefully the the low 70's by December..
