4 Months Later

Good Morning All,

Today four months ago, I started my journey with Duromine. I will never forget how I felt getting onto the scale that Monday morning the 19th of May. I felt like the biggest disappointment to not only myself but my family and friends. This overweight and sad young girl with the world in front of her and all she wanted to do was eat it. I thank God everyday for the wonderful friend that lead me to duromine and that has been my biggest support, motivator and ass kicker. She thought me new habits and how to go about it and thought me some tricks to the weight loss life. Without her I wouldn't be here now.

So for Sh!ts and giggles I got on the scale today (not my normal weigh in day) to see how I would feel, after standing still on 109.5kg for just over two weeks I was praying for a different number or I am running to the nearest Mc Donalds and consuming their whole menu
The four month mark needed to be celebrated and I think my scale agreed, eventually it ticked down to 108.3kg - a full 1.2kg. I was over the moon and happy danced my way down the stairs to my coffee.

Four months later and 2 months without Duromine now and still going on, having standing still moments kills me but it's all part of the process. I look great, feel great and know that the next 30kg will not be as smooth as 30kg that has already left. But am ready for it.

Hope everyone is having a fantastic day and week.

Reading all of your updates keeps me going, you are all so motivating.

What a great job you did SweetTeddie! I admire you girl!
Well done, goooosh 30kg!!!! And the best thing I like about your situation is that you keep moving in the right direction without Duromine!

That is a huge loss Teddie. You are an inspiration and I hope to follow your lead when I am no longer on Duromine. I'm scared to stop. I'm sure that is common and I know that it can be done now because of you. It is not often that we hear the success stories of those who have successes after Duromine. Usually all we get is the doom and gloom preachers telling us that it is a short term fix and we will just put it all back on.

So well done on being our hero. The one we can all look up to and tell all those bad news bears that "I know someone who is still losing" after the D. It gives me the courage to go on my own when I have to.

Thank you.

Thanks for your story.
I will remember that as I embark on my journey tomorrow.
I am 42 and have struggled with my weight my entire life and I have never taken a pill. So you can understand how much I am against this . But I need help so I have given in.
Wish me luck !

Thank you so much Kate. I still struggle to believe that it has been 4 months now but I am so looking forward to the next 4 months.

- Smick: Your determination is so inspiring. You do not want to give up although you know the path ahead will not be easy. You can do it girl. Just believe in yourself. When you have stopped with the D you will also keep on keeping on... lol. When we stop "dieting" for other and to impress other the results are much more rewarding. You are fantastic.

- Demi: Very much luck to you. You will see results very quickly.

-Shelly: Thank you so much for all your messages. I suck with reply's but you have truly been fantastic. I am very proud of myself and knowing that my opinion is the only one that matters makes it even better. Can't stop bragging about my results.
