So this morning I went back to work after 3 weeks off - THAT was painful! I went to put my larger work pants on that I'd been wearing for the last 3 months or so of last year and they were a little big. So I decided to try on my smaller ones of the same style and colour just on the off chance that they might fit. I was thinking they might fit but not be comfortable enough to sit down in all day but . . . they fit me perfectly - if nothing maybe a smidge baggy under the bum but still, you gotta be happy with that!
Down side is that my recent and rapid decrease is size is clearly unnoticable as nobody at work has passed any comment after not having seen me for 3 weeks![Frown :( :(](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
On another note, I was at the gym yesterday and benched pressed 37.5kg which was a PB for me. I'm 65kg so it's just over half my body weight so I was happy. These two stupid young thin waify things (you know, the ones with the make up and the swishy ponytail and fancy sports clothes who don't appear to do anything for fear of actually messing up their hair or sweating their make up off!) had been looking at me and giggling while I was running on the treadmill - I run for 30 minutes so I work up quite a sweat by about the 20 minute mark. That was annoying enough but then they were in the weights room playing with a set of barbells what were about 4kg each looking at me funny because I made a couple of grunts and heavy puffs of breath, as one does when lifting heavy weights. I really felt like saying to them "Oi, Waif! Get over here and bench this weight if you think you're so great!" But I didn't. Well done me, I say! I just have a small feeling that they won't be able to train the way I train when they get to my age of 46. I have been told that bench pressing is not ladylike a couple of times before by different people who have never been near a gym in their lives. Well guess what people?? I'm not there to look pretty and parade myself around, attract men and be ladylike. In actual fact, most men who go to gyms would rather see a woman working hard and swearing. I'm there to work, huff, puff, sweat and lift. I DON'T CARE!!! Get over it.![Stick Out Tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
