Sooooo This has been a week of Extreme HIGHS, and Extreme LOWS
Decided, for no real good reason ,to go off D for a week ,to just have a break from being so energized/fog brained/ running on no sleep ....
My Highs were: Exercise was excellent, had loads of energy the first 4 days, so good that I achieved my first exercise mini goal of doing 50 minutes of cardio full on ...
:Food intake, was beyond Excellent, ate 1200 calories PLUS..
:Sleep was wonderful !!!! 8 -10 hours every night...
:Brain activity more focussed on my food intake ,and exercise needs for the first time in 8 weeks, I felt more in control ,in that regard...
My Lows were:Water intake ,Did not go to the loo as often as before..drinking half of what I used to ...
:Cravings for sweet things came back ,had extra sugar in my hot drinks, {hence more calorie intake}..
:Tension Headaches ,not sure if it was caused by going cold Turkey on D and not weening myself off, but by day 6 I wanted to rip my head off my neck from the pain{thought it could have been the lactic acid from the extra exercise? } Kate this is where I need you advice??
:Hard to remain focused and balanced ,on my goal plan ,like only eating 1200 calories,and eating good food choices, wanting sugar all the time ,which is not me, I usually ONLY want sweet things when it is PMS ...
I measured myself this morning, only lost 3,4 cm on whole body, so now I am to chicken, to get on the scale ,as I fear my bad choices this week will show on the scale for sure, and not sure if my mind set will be strong enough to handle the answer ...I feel like I am 10 steps back from when I started 8 weeks ago..
.5cm my chest
.5cm my waist
.4cm my thighs
.1.5cm my Hips
.5cm my neck
total of 3.4cm
my calves remain the same every week haha .. they huge and full of muscle, so I know I will only see results after a 15kg weight loss ,they currently 47cm left and 47.5 cm right ..I started week 1 and my calves were at 45.5 and 46.5 so I have gained over the past 8 weeks, in this area of my body....my shoulders and forearms and biceps fluctuate, not accurate numbers at all .. So I am pretty happy with the loss and that is is in the big areas of my body, but would have liked a bigger loss, considering I had trained extra hard and longer this week...
