I think the energy boost has started to kick in because I woke up at 6:00am and wasn't able to go back to sleep. I put on some clothes, got my beloved companion Bella and went for a nice brisk morning walk. 45 minutes, fast paced.

Usually in the mornings I am so tired and cannot even be bothered getting up out of bed! I start work at 8:30am weekdays, and I struggle to get up out of bed each morning. Weekends I would usually stay in bed and sleep in. I have so much energy today that I want to go out and do more exercise. It's a good feeling, one that I don't ever have, especially not first thing in the morning.

I did have a little bit of a restless sleep last night..Sleep from about 10pm until about 1:30am, then slept on and off for the next few hours. Usually I would wake up exhausted after a night of broken sleep, but this morning I feel like I could run a marathon.

I don't feel hungry. I did have an Up and Go for breakfast as I have been told its still important to eat even if you're not hungry. But I'm not feeling like going to the fridge and eating anything else.

I think this is the motivation I needed to do something about my weight. I'm glad I ended up getting the prescription, despite the risks. I needed to do it for myself. There are risks in being overweight too, probably similar to the Duromine. Stroke, heart problems, everything my doctor warned me about.

I told myself I would weigh myself once a week, or maybe a little more like a week and a half..
I don't want to obsess over always checking the scales. I don't have scales at my house at the moment, and I think it's better. I have a set at work that I can check myself on.

Everyone is in bed and I feel like doing a massive clean of the house...
