Damn I never know where to start, there is just too much to say really. I'll try and sum it all up as much as I can and not ramble on, and on and oh wait, crap I'm doing it now aren't I?....

Ok so bit about me
# Female, 29yrs old, 167cm tall, pear shape, mummy of a 15 month old
# Start weight 92.9kgs & current weight 82.4kgs total loss 10.5kgs (4-5months of Duromine on/off)
# I am currently on my 4th box of Duromine 40mg
# Getting married in 4 months (OMG!!) need to lose another 8-10kgs
# My doctor has not seen me in 5 months, yet keeps writing me out scripts...he's the best! haha

So it's been an interesting journey, which has taken a lot longer than I thought, but I'm in no way upset by this I'm doing it slowly which hopefully will prevent rebound weight gain and I have avoided becoming a psychotic hungry beast of a woman, hooray no homicides!
I won't bore you with all the details, but I've tried many different things to try and boost Duromine's effectiveness for me. (Incase you were thinking, oh she's probably just not been eating healthy and laying around like a glorified flesh coloured cushion. I swear i'm a frikkin professional dieter, usually I'd gain some then quickly lose it in the past, but after a 1.5 years of binge eating my way through pregnancy & B-feeding I found that I couldn't lose anything substantial even when I practically stopped eating. So I have been eating healthy on Duromine & I have never exercised so much in my life, jesus I actually have muscle tone in places I never thought possible!). Rambling again!
What I found the most effective for me, was having breaks from taking it. I'd stop for a week, making sure I kept being good, then start again the following week for another 3 weeks the stop again. When I first started doing this stop/start method about 2 months ago that's when I started to really see results. My body must just get used to it very quickly and this way it shakes things up a bit I guess, kicks my metabolism right in its sluggish face. From the 10kgs I've lost in the last 4-5 months, 6kg of that has been in the last 8 weeks.
Another strong piece of advice, do take it on an empty stomach, with a large glass of water and then wait at least 30min before eating, I never really did this at the beginning but since I have, my results have also improved.

Don't give up and don't toss away that packet. Check out some other people's advice also, it may just be a matter of finding a different approach like I did, everyone's body works differently...make Duromine YOUR bitch;)
