So, I had a super bad Friday, and due to power outs, ended up eating McDonalds with my husband and son. My daily intake for Friday was 1600 calories, where I normally eat between 800-1100 calories a day. I gained weight, 800g to be exact -taking my weight back to 97.5 (yes, I weigh myself every day, purely for motivational purposes) and I am now working extremely hard to get rid of it again! I will not have any take away food again, it is not worth it, no matter what situation gets thrown my way. This is a promise I have made to myself. Lesson learned.
Saturday I burned about 700 calories, and Sunday I had an amazing day in the sun, and burned another 1000 calories swimming and going for a brisk walk with hubby. LOL, had to go look for new swimwear, as everything I had was too big Last night I made the decision to up my exercise routine, and I got up at 04:00 today to start my new routine of exercising twice a day (30-45min each). My weight has gone down to 97kg (still not back to where I was, seems the weight loss has slowed down significantly.....) but my official weigh in will only be on Friday 14/11/2014.
My son is 10 (a bit overweight as well), and he started exercising with me yesterday, and he is becoming very interested in calories in everything he eats, versus calories burned. He even said: "mom, you are getting so small now"! Its so nice when people comment on your weight loss, especially if that someone is your son, and the very reason you are doing this. I must be doing something right.
