Day fifty one on Duramine (metermine) 40mgs-
So.. Ate carbs today- not cake, at least there's that. For breakfast i had a fruit salad made with kiwifruit, honey dew, rock melon, strawberries and fresh pineapple. Borrowed a Leslie Sansone Just walk ultimate 5 day walk plan dvd from the library and after trying out another dance aerobic dvd and finding it appallingly bad i popped it on and did the Monday 3 mile (4.8km) walk. I started with Monday figuring it would be best to start from the beginning. I found the workout to be suitably low impact and had no issues with my knee at all. Leslie was a bit chipper
but i didn't find her to be condescending or abrasive as other instructors had come across instead she had an aura of support and friendly helpfulness (is that a word?) that i found endearing. Primarily the walking workout involved walking in place, marching, grapevine walks, side steps, leg lifts, kicks and various arm movements. Tomorrow is 4 mile (6.3km) followed by 2 miles (3.2km) for two days then 5 miles (8km). Each walking workout is followed by a strength training session. I'm thinking it's a keeper. I got really hungry about an hour after the workout and started craving cake, i settled on a pineapple ring and a strawberry. For tea i ate 2 burrito wraps- hence the carbs. In the not so distant past i would have eaten loads more than 2 but i still feel slightly guilty about it, even had a well if you were going to eat carbs anyway why couldn't it have been cake moment

My reasoning behind eating more than just the meat was as the meat alone would have been a really minute amount if i was still hungry i might have been tempted to give in to cake or shapes or bread and then eaten a ridiculous amount, as i am at the arse end of the fortnight any fresh protein and salad is gone and i can only eat so much fruit. It might have been a mistake but what can i say, i'm trying. Had 2.5 litres of water today. Made appointment at doctors for next weeks weigh in today too.
