Hello good folk!
Sorry I've been a bit quiet of late. I'm having an extremely hectic time at work atm. My boss is on holidays so I have taken on a lot of her work on top of my own. I won't lie, it's been stressful and I still have 2 weeks to go! This week I have been racing around like a headless chook both physically and mentally. I've been absolutely exhausted all the time and been having headaches at the end of each day. Worked out only twice but I've still been eating well - as in quality not quantity unfortunately. Also (this could be too much information) my toileting hasn't been good and I feel ever so bloated and heavy in the guts. So I'm quite disappointed about all that.
So . . . I wasn't expecting good things on the scales this morning but to my surprise I was another 800gms down. I actually got on and off again about 3 times to make sure it was right! So since I started on December 15 I've dropped 4.3kg. Doesn't sound like much but I started this with an 8kg goal. I started at 68kg and we, as in my doc and I, want to get me to 60kg. I'd actually like 58kg but he said let's go for 60 first as a more realistic goal. So I'm pretty chuffed this morning, am ready to go to work and achieve what I need to achieve today - haven't been able to all week but it's Friday before a long weekend so I am determined NOT to leave the office without being up to date!
