Hi everyone

I am new to the duromine journey. i am on day 12, and almost all my side effects are gone and i still feel hungry! i have lost 3.5kg, but i feel that was mostly due to willpower. can anyone help me or has anyone else had the same experience? should i stop using duromine or persevere. i feel really hopeless right now. is it worth it to still be on when i still feel this hungry?

Please help me

Hi Nika, what mg are you on? maybe a higher strength would be better for you, but in saying that 3.5kg's loss in less than two weeks just using willpower is pretty huge, is that a loss that something you have accomplished in two weeks before Duromine? I suspect that the Duromine may be working.

best of luck

Hi Kerrie

i'm on the 30mg. i don't think i've ever accomplished that before Duromine to be honest. I got really sick 2 days ago so i stopped, but i haven't binged on food the way i thought i would. will finish the course i am on right now till the end of the month. think i'm also a bit paranoid about the usage because i got the Duromin from a friend of mine who is a pharmacist and not from a prescribing Dr. think i will stick out though!. thank you so much Kerrie

Hi, Nika, i was the same. Started on 30mg. Was convinced this was the answer and like you lost a small amount of weight (limited exercise due to injury) i believe the first month was willpower. When i went back to doc he gave me 40mg to continue on with. Second month i started to feel hungry again and wanted the not so healthy snacks ( didnt eat much at meal time) willpower was fading. Cause the tablets are so expensive i thought 'why waste the money on them'.......... a few months down the track im ready to give it another crack. I know its certainly willpower but im convinced that duromine does help to a certain point with the see food need it feeling.

Hi Gwen
i started up again after a week of stopping whilst i was sick, and i must say that this stuff definitely works. The difference between how much i snacked while i was off it in that week vs when i got back on is actually amazing. i haven't been able to do much exercise, i think that's the main reason that i haven't lost as much as i had originally wanted. but since i last posted my originally entry i've lost another 2kg, even with me eating normally for the week i was sick, would have lost more if i didn't let go in that time. i say you should definitely give it another try. I've seen a lot of posts on here and taken advice; keep your calorie intake between 1200 and 1500 a day and do maybe 45 min of cardio or any workout you're comfortable with. Don't be afraid to give it another try. Also thought i would just stop coz the stuff is so expensive, but i think i will buy another course of it! keep me updated with your progress :)
