So it's been one week since starting on Duromine and wow what a week. I'm weighing in on Wednesdays and in a week I have dropped from 103kg to 99kg. I have been trying so hard to get under 100kgs for so long and now I'm here - however, still have a looooooooooooong way to go.
The first couple of days was weird - I felt good, motivated, energized, really energised!. I didn't get any headaches, I was happy and excited to start seeing results. I wasn't eating much but kept eating at meal times to ensure my body was getting the energy it needed. I kept up my water intake also and managed to get to the gym twice (I failed on my hopes to getting there more but life just kept getting in the way...), however, it got my heart pumping and I felt great afterwards.
When it comes to eating - my portion sizes are now less and I'm not feeling hungry after my meals. I've kicked about half the amount of coffee I drink and have started drinking more green tea during the day. I made a point to go out and buy awesome leaf tea instead of the yucko ones in the tea bag that I always seem to buy. I was recommended a tea at Tea2 that had all the benefits of a green tea plus the effects of caffeine, so it is a great substitute for coffee.
I've also been able to manage to reduce the amount of carbs I eat - I do eat some, minimal if anything and have managed to stay strong when it comes to resisting cakes and muffins and chocolate - yay me! ha!
The funny thing is that though I've lost the weight - I don't "feel" like I've lost weight. So Im guessing it's water I've lost. I know in myself I will feel it more once I ramp up my gym sessions and I can then feel like I'm really achieving something.
Having lost 4kg in 7 days feels good - however, I hope I can continue to lose more during this journey.
I'm aiming for another 4 - 5kg for next week. Wish me luck
