Each new year I have made resolutions to "eat healthy", "lose weight", "spend time with the family" and each year they seem to go okay for a short time but I never quite see the end.
What am I doing wrong?
How do I make these eventual stumbling blocks into stepping stones?
The answer came for me while I was working on a Sunday School lesson recently - the resolutions or goals are too broad, not measurable, don't have a time frame. So for this year, 2014, I am setting SMART goals for myself.
S - specific
M - measurable
A - attainable
R - relevant
T - time-bound
