WEEK 1 (Few Hours to D-Day :) Nervous, anxious, hopeful, fearful and so much more emotions)

Hi everyone

Today will be the start of a 3 month treatment of duromine 30mg - plus banting diet and Tuesdays and Thursdays exercise for an hour and Wednesdays dancing classes.....

I've read so many negative and positive feedback - therefore the mixed emotions.
I've always been a skinny gal weighing between 55 and 65 kg's since 2012 I've gained so much and weighing 109 kg (just checked) Its been a struggle I'm sure most women can relate to on this forum!

Im going to take the duromine at 6am for this week and see how it affects me throughout the day as well as my sleeping pattern especially since im already troubled with a bit of insomnia at times. I know what could be expected so Im well prepared. Eager and determined to make this a success story.

Start Weight: 109 kg (06 September 2015)
Healthy Weight Range: 60 - 70 kg
Weight Loss Required: 44 kg
Desired Weight: 65 kg

Desired time frame: within 6 Months

Please feel free to give me some inspirational motivation and success stories and please share all details bad and good.........

Hello, and welcome to the Duromine family;)
I have heard and read a lot about the Banting eating plan and it seems people get amazing results. You sound to have a good plan worked out.
It is certainly doable.
Just weigh yourself once a week and remember to take measurements as well. Times I did not lose in kg's there were cm's. All the best of luck to you!:):)

Thanks so much for the advice and encouragement :)! I'm definitely going to be measuring the cm's. The fitness club I'm registered with keeps record of my progress as well so all basis covered.

I'm extremely excited for my journey but so scared to step on the scale the first week (I'm at day 5) and thinking of only weighing in once a month as I've read so many stories of women being disappointed after losing a great deal the first week and getting to stall or less weight loss weeks after.

I'm definitely going to be updating the blog weekly to inspire others the way ladies like yourself are inspiring me.
