Week 5 I hate the scales again!

So here I am at week 5, this is usually the time i get pissed off with my slow weight loss and start eating chocolate again. Ive put on 600 grams this week despite eating well and exercisizing 5 days out of 7 - I do have my period though so Im hoping that Im just retaining lots of water (funny thing to wish for I know) so this week im going to try and exercise more and eat even less and try really hard to stay on the wagon! please send me your positive non eating vibes :)

Hi... I am half way through week 4 and have also gained weight this week. I think my cycle will start in the next day or so and im really hoping that its that which has caused the gain. I normally pick up around 2kg at that time of the month. So I wont weigh again until next week and just going to do my best to stay on track. Good luck to you, hope your numbers drop!

Hi michelle your right the gain is just your period... Stay of the scales until you have finished ..then wait another day then weigh in .. I bet you will have a great loss ;) ... Keep doing what you have been eat right stick to your calories and exercise.... I bet you feel better everyday :) ... Remember your fantastic and strong !!! Have a fabulous week :) :)

It seems like a lot of people 'hit the wall' at about 5 weeks. Don't stress. You will be back on track before you know it.
