So I though about it a lot yesterday, and I decided to just go for it. I mean, there are risks with every medication, as well as side effects. Nothing could be worse than the way I'm feeling about myself, anyway. I want to change because I'm not healthy. I need to change for myself.
The tablets cost me $100 for one months supply. Honestly its expensive, but when I think of it, my doctor has said that I am only on these for three months, so it's not too bad. It also ends up being about $3.30 a day for one tablet, and when I think of that, I spend more money on bad food in one day. I hope it ends up being a good investment. I need help with this journey, I need a kick start, and some motivation. Hopefully this drug will help me.
I took my first tablet at 6:00am this morning. I heard that it's better to take it nice and early in the morning as it can keep you up at night. I was just wondering, how long until you start feeling the effects? By effects I mean the not feeling hungry, energy boost, and also the side effects too. I mean, obviously I'm not expecting anything today as I've only taken my first one, but just curious as to how long it took some of you to feel it kicking in?
I took some photos of myself in front of the mirror, and honestly I'm ashamed to see what I've become. When I look at the pictures I'm sad at what I see, but it made me feel good to know that I'm going to do something about it. I want to lose at least 20 kilos, at least. Not necessarily in the three months that I'm on Duromine, but in general, no matter how long it takes. I'm hoping the drug gives me some more energy so that can go for walks, and do more exercise than what I have been doing.
Today I feel really motivated to make this change in my life.
