After a whole month of staying the same weight, I now have the scales heading in the right direction again.
Now weighing in at 86.5 kg. A loss of 1.2 kg since last week.
I have breached a couple of milestones.
* Over 30 kg lost
* No longer obese (BMI in the overweight category)
* Healthy weight range is now less than 15 kg away
I am pleased with this week's results. I have been working hard for most of the week. I had a big weekend though. Valentine's Day dinner at a beautiful restaurant on Saturday night and my nephew's 18th on Sunday. I can still enjoy myself and lose weight. I just need to make sure that I don't go too overboard.
I have been doing this for eight months now. WOW! I am enjoying life so much more now. My attitude has changed from "I can't be bothered" or "I don't have the energy for that" or "I'm too big for that" to one of enthusiasm for everything. I have an "I can" attitude now. I keep reminding myself there can be "no excuses". It is still hard to make myself exercise. I am sitting here now, typing in my gym gear. I will exercise today and I know I will feel great once it is done, it is just the starting that is difficult.
