Ok what to write here....well to start from the begining I have been told is a good place to start.

well it all started many moons ago when hubby was on night shifts and I was to depressed to cook for only one and well hungry jacks was 2 doors away. so each night I would gorge on crap and I ballooned to my heaviest weight of nearly 90kgs. Now I am only a short gal being all of 5 foot so I needed to do something and became a gym junkie this lost me 10kgs but I was still addicted to cola and needed a lovely can of coke as my morning coffee.

Then I gave up sugar, Hubby and I went cold turkey for 6 months (and no divorce lol) and then I got the worst news of my life. my dad had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I still remember the next morning after being told this I got up at 5am to do my gym session and grabbed a 600ml coke stuck this into the drink holder of the treadmill and started to run.

I moved half way around the country to be closer to dad during his ordeal - lived in Tassie moved to Cairns - and lost another 5kgs (I think this was through sweat).

12months have gone since dad passed and even though I will never get over his death it is time that I started looking after myself better. Hubby was on Duramine 12 months ago and has lost over 20kgs so now its my turn to loose 10-15 kgs and to give up the sugar and coke for good.

First 4 days in and I have cleaned the house ready for inspection, so scrubbed walls and windows and my clients have commented on how much more active I have become..i even tried to get hubby to race down the aisles of wollies with me. (I never run..anywhere..) please tell me this extra energy does not go away.

So here is to my new life...I hope :)

Hi Clovia! First of all, welcome to the forum, welcome to the community, where everyone takes you the way you are and is ready to reach a hand of support, advice or share your positive and negative experience.

You had to go through a lot of things and I guess it’s your time to recover (at least physically). And congratulations on your decision!!!! I wish you to achieve your goals, become healthier and throw to waste all the excess things that you have now on…

I see Duromine already helped you get ready for a new life that is clean from junk food and drinks ;)) Well done! Now ahead towards your weight loss goals with a good eating and exercising plan. Best of luck to you!
