Hi all,
I've been reading the forums for a week now and have decided to give Duromine a go! I'm seeing my gp tonight so fingers crossed he prescribes it for me!
Bit of background about me:
I'm 24 years old and I live in Victoria, Australia. I hate to say this but I'm 108kgs, the heaviest I've ever been. I also have PCOS and was diagnosed earlier this year after years of tests. I've tried every diet under the sun and about a month ago I decided I just needed to eat right and exercise without using any other fad diets so thats what my partner and I did. A week ago we jumped on the scales. My partner had lost 6 kilos so I was hopeful that I'd have a similar result. I was proud as I hadn't had any junk food, I cut sugar out (I could down a block in one sitting, it's my biggest problem) and hadn't had any soft drink as well as increasing my exercise. When I stood in the scales, disbelief occurred as the number on the scales had gone up by +1kg. It was so disheartening after seeing my partners results. I don't even know how it's possible but it lead me here and to the decision to ask my gp for duromine.
I haven't told anyone about this decision as I don't want to be judged. I'm hoping if I can get duromine that I'll be able to use this forum for support and to keep me accountable and on track! I'm so sick of feeling disappointed and unhappy. I just need help to kick start my weight loss.
Thanks for reading a bit about me! Fingers crossed my gp gets on board to help me! Will report back tonight![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
