Hi all,
So as some of you know this week has been a challenge not only mentally but physically, {internally , in the stomach region } as well. lol .... I have added fibre to my diet , I eat lentils, and veggies , and fruit ,and get my fibre that way but I added muesli to my diet this week for breakfast to just have a bit of a change from eggs, smoothies, soup etc.. I ate muesli every morning for three days, by the third day my tummy felt like it had a rock inside it, not fun at all, despite all my water intake, exercise, and primrose oil , this "rock " would not budge.. Decided to stop eating the organic muesli , had a boiled egg for breakkie , with some herbal tea, and took my meds and vitamins as usual with in an hour my "rock" had passed through my system...Been going well ever since , so to not eat the muesli at all ? or to only have it twice a week ? I do not suffer with gluten, or IBS, just wondering if it could be the one ingredient I am not familiar with in the muesli, Spelt , do not know it , could it be the culprit ? ..anyway would love some advice on this, otherwise I will be going back to good old weetabix and oats ...
