Week 7 - Disappointed :(

Lost 9.8kg in 7weeks

I only lost 600grams this week. I know any loss is better than no loss but I guess I'm just disappointed that it wasn't more, particularly because I know why.

It's because on Valentines day I had chicken pad thai at a restaurant for dinner. I knew it was the wrong thing to order at the time but I did it anyway. I didn't eat the whole serving but I still ate more than I needed to.

I've already beaten myself up about it and now it's time to learn from it and move on. I guess what I am going to take from this week is that even one bad choice can have a massive effect on one's weight loss journey.

I've already lost over 10% of my starting body weight and I know that's a fantastic achievement so I'm going to try and focus on the positives aswell.

Here's to a better and more successful week ahead.

Don't be so hard on yourself! 9.8kg is an amazing achievement in 7 weeks. I think if you have cheat days where you allow yourself to eat something not as healthy is fine. If you deprive yourself completely you'll end up getting more cravings. If I feel like chocolate, I'll have a small amount. If I feel like pasta, I'll have a small amount.

It's not a bad choice. You could've gone to Maccas and had a Big Mac with fries but you didn't. You could've eaten until you felt sick but you didn't. Chin up you're doing a great job!
