I was given it at 28.9.. I think age and gender, pre existing conditions, ethnicity, body fat % also play a factor as to whether you will be prescribed it.

I'm in Adelaide, and when my BMI was 25, I got a script straightaway. When my BMI went up to 36, I had to see three doctors before I could get a script. Crazy!! It all depends on who you see, because most won't be too happy about prescribing it, unfortunately.

Yep Iv seen 2 drs so far that won't give to me -- shitting me !! I'm in nsw My BMI is 38

The doctor I saw (Victoria) was actually quite willing to give it to me. He did a thorough consult with me and has insisted I go back after 2 weeks so he can monitor my blood pressure and my progress. My BMI is 39.9

My bmi is 42 and he refused to give it to me today. Instead he offered Saxenda however looking at the reviews Saxenda seems a lot worse... I’m so upset because I’m extremely over weight.

I am the same, bmi is 45 and doctor said she would never give me duromine, only Saxenda which i had researched prior and dont want to go near that stuff.
