Hi all.. I have my duromine 40 script ready to go and will have it filled this coming Wednesday.. It will be my 2nd attempt. First time around - I had no idea what to expect.. I only really had 'hopes' and hopes are pretty much hopeless without effort as well.
I have since changed my workplace (same industry though) and am happier now at work.. I started last June and lost a total of about 4 ish kg in 3 months. A poor result for the money spent - but again.. I didn't put in any additional effort.

This time, I have taken those awful start photos (so gross).and after about 2 months, have been game enough stand om the scales and to peer over my tummy to see the figures..

So - here goes:

I am fairly short - 153cm
Current weight - 76.5kg
Goal weight - 58kg
OMG goal - 54kg

My shape - well, the Yellow M&M is a good resemblance.. only with chubbo arms and legs too..

I want to give myself mini goal rewards - things that are Just for Me...

My first mini goal - is to reach 74.5..
Reward - thinking maybe some new walking shoes

Next mini goal - 72kg
Reward: maybe a pair of earrings

3rd mini goal - 69.5kg
Reward: winter is coming so maybe slippers??

4th mini goal - 67kg

5th mini goal - 64.5kg

6th mini goal - 62kg

7th mini goal - 59.5kg
Reward: :) New Clothes

8th mini goal - 58kg
Reward: More new clothes

Hmmmm.... if only it was that easy!!

This time around - I am going to walk every day.. and increase the distance weekly. I'm going to help the duromine by avoiding malteasers, bread and other white foods, including pasta.

Will see how this 3 month stint works this time!

Would love to share my journey with you all as you continue with yours too!

Hello Deanna78!!! You are so very welcome to the forum and into this Duromine family! I hope your weight loss goes heaps better this time. Now you know that you should work a bit harder to get a better result. That’s great! My sincere congratulations with changing your job. If it makes you happier than you were before, means you did the right thing and this definitely inspires you for new achievements. I am glad you’re ready to achieve new heights and keep changing your life for better.

I have one single question… why 40 mg from the very beginning? It is very strong… did you take the 40 mg previous time?

You wrote nothing about side effects you had, if any. I have to warn you that each time you re-start Duromine, your feelings can differ significantly from the way you felt previously.

… yellow M&M… hilarious! Stop saying this about yourself. It is not your body that you should “not like”, it is the extra fat. Your body is fine, yet the extra fat covers your wonderful figure. So let’s hate the fat and get rid of it, and continue loving yourself, i.e. giving your body the best and healthiest foods, enough rest, enough exercising to always keep it healthy and toned, may spa treatments, etc., etc.

Mini goal rewards – now that’s my method as well. =) When I was going through the weight loss process on Duromine, my first reward was a pair of good sneakers. =)

While you would love to share your journey, I would love to join you onyour way and wish you all the luck! If you need any advice or support, you know now where you can get it.

PS don’t forget to drink enough water!

Welcome back, dear Deanna!
I agree with April - please don't dislike your body shape, you are beautiful, we all are;) it's just a slight extra fat issue that is manageble, in fact your mini goals are quite realistic and I hope soon you will see the results. But the same question: why 40mg from the beginning? I am afraid of heavy side effects in this case, hope I am wrong. Fingers crossed!
