Five years ago I had great success losing 35 kilos on this site. I’m back for another go. Most of those kilos have crept back.
So.... this morning while at the GP to discuss my injured knee (need X-ray and MRI  ) I brought up my recent weight loss struggles. We both decided it was time to try Duromine again as I had such success with it last time and I am in the right mindset.
Today is Day 1:
I am 111 kg
At the beginning of the year I was 115 kg. The first 12 weeks of 2020 I was super motivated. I lost 12 kg in 12 weeks. Then Covid-19 hit. We went into lockdown. I live in Victoria, Australia. We have had one of the hardest and longest lockdowns. I injured my knee and was off work for 5 weeks, physio for 8 weeks! (It is still not 100%). We have dealt with job insecurity, lockdowns, working from home, family illness, not being able to see friends and family (including a new grandchild), quarantine! (due to a case in my workplace), stress and uncertainty. There have been exercise limitations and lots of comfort eating.
2020 has been a wreck of a year.
I still managed to exercise everyday this year. I have closed all of my Apple Watch activity rings every day since 26.12.19 (yay)
I want to turn this year around and make it positive.
This is my start.

Great start and good luck on your weightloss journey  What Duromine dosage do you take? Can you share your meal plan and workout program?

Hello, dear @Smick :sun:
This year was difficult for all of us, so I can totally understand you.
I am sorry to hear that you have knee troubles. I hope you will recover very soon.
I wish you a successful weight loss journey this time, too!

How many kg do you plan to lose this time?

I take the 30mg capsules. Previously I found this is the dosage that works best. 40mg leaves me very edgy and 15mg has little effect.
My meal plan is a Healthy Mummy shake for breakfast made with coconut milk, banana, chia seeds and benefibre. Berries for morning tea. Salad for lunch with tuna or chic peas or feta. Small serve of dinner.
My problem has never been what I eat for meals, it has been the serving size and snacking in between. So no snacking and reducing serving sizes.
As far as exercise I walk 5km each morning and I’m on my feet all day, regularly doing 20,000 + steps every day. I also do strengthening exercises for about 30 mins. Weather permitting I add in 30-60 mins swimming laps 2-3 times a week.

Marisa, I have several goals:
I ‘need’ to lose 40 kg to get to a healthy weight. That make me 71kg. I have not been that weight for a very long time.
I plan to first celebrate being under 100kg. I would be very happy to get to 80kg.

Woow, you must be really busy with your new lifestyle. :eek:I think you need to write a separate blog on how to find time for all these activities! How is your weight loss now?

Hello, dear Smick! Remember me?;) How are you? How is your weight loss journey so far?
Welcome back to our community, despite the reason you got back, we are always glad to see our good old friends here! Ah, what a year...two years actually, this world situation made us all reconsider our life values and goals. What is really important and what's not so much... And now health is what stands first no doubt, for us and our loved ones. I'm glad you found the strength to fight this extra weight again, which I'm sure you'll defeat successfully since you've already had a positive experience with Duromine.

I agree with April, your new journey deserves to be recorded in a separate blog maybe because I am certain that a lot of new and old forum members will find it very helpful and motivating!

Wishing you the best and waiting for your first weight loss numbers. Please keep us updated🤗
