Day seven on Duramine (Metermine) 40mgs-
Only drank 1 litre of water today, most unimpressed, will try to drink loads more tomorrow. Woke up roughly 7am didnt take tablet til 8am. Skipped breakfast again which really annoys me, before I went to the Dr. for the duromine and got the whole carb lecture the biggest change I had started to implement in my life (other than water replacing soda) was consuming breakfast EVERYDAY and I was losing weight, albeit slowly, doing it.. Now because of one cracker jack I'm upsetting that whole balance. No. I wont have it.. I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I do know that eating breakfast kick starts your metabolism in the morning, I know my own mind and I know that 20 odd years of not eating breakfast was a mistake. So, right, I am decided, i'll not be skipping it again. Yup.. Where was I? Ok so what I did eat.. About 5-6 prunes as I was trying to convince my 4yo who was suffering from encopresis (basically constipation) that they were yummmm. He didn't buy it. I did manage to get him to eat two but no amount of bribary or cajoling whould get him to eat more. Inspiration struck and I whipped up a small single serve cake with some (six) prunes on it, wacked it in a silicone heart mould, let him decorate it with icing pens- just so after he spat the first bite out I could eat it and try and convince him it was mmm yummm. It was actually, tasted like sultana cake so that was me breaking the carb bank again also ate some (8 or 9) cocktail pickled onions.. Yum. For tea at 5pm I had a small slice of homemade lasagne. I'm actually quite proud of that.. I have NEVER made a lasagne and not eaten half a tray before. EVER. There are left overs- It's just not normal. The wholemeal sheets were nice too, couldn't even taste the difference. Still not eating after dinner anymore and thats just soo great. Went for a walk from 4pm to 4.45pm while the lasagne was cooking, not as briskly as I might have but I tried to push myself a little by chasing my boy on and off. He loved it so yea all in all its a win.. Getting sleepy now, well i've been sleepy since 7pm lol tired in the mornings too but still getting more done than I used to. Getting there.
