One month in...

So I've been pretty quiet lately as I've been sick and busy. Since my last entry I have gone through the flu and a very painful sore throat all within a week which effected my mood, going to the gym and how I ate. I still tried to eat properly, however, it was very little. I survived on healthy chicken and veg soups and fresh juices with lots of ginger. When I weighed myself last week - I couldn't believe it - I had reached 93kg. It totally blew me away. I'm almost at my weight when I first fell pregnant. Yes, the loss was probably mostly attributed to hardly eating much but still - I'm stoked. With the loss I've achieved so far - my clothes fit better. I'm wearing clothes I haven't been able to wear in years, clothes I hid away for the day that I finally do lose the weight I need to. I've dropped a size and my goal was to drop 3 sizes, so after a month I'm well on my way.

I am however, down to my last tablet and need to get my prescription filled again. I'm hoping, one more month on the duromine will push me to lose another 10kg.
This next month, I need to start going to the gym again as I know that will help push me towards that goal. It will also help me tone up a bit more as despite losing the weight I'm feeling a little bit flabby, especially in my tummy area.

Overall, after the first month - I am feeling great. I didn't have any of the side effects that I worried about before taking it and I have lost 10kg. Cutting out carbs and following a paleo lifestyle has most likely aided in this loss also, so combined, this has worked for me so far and I will continue these habits into my second round. :)
