Hi all,
Today was my first day on 30mg.
To give you some background, I've always been pear shaped with large butt and hips; something I embraced a long time ago. In the past 2 years I finished uni and started working full time behind a desk where I managed to put on 15kg. I have been taking boxing classes 4 times per week for the last 6 months so I guess I can blame some of the extra kgs on muscle but lets not kid ourselves...the cheeseburgers definitely contributed more.
Last week I went to the doctors and because I fall into the "Obese" category on the BMI chart, I am apparently the perfect candidate for Duromine. I never thought of myself as obese but there it was on the chart so it must be right
.
Long story short, I want to be back to where I was 2 years ago at 67kg.
I've tried shakes, smoothies, weight watchers, 5:2 and low calorie healthy eating plans but gave up quickly. I've tried Duromine before so this time, unlike all the other times I've put myself on a diet, I have decided to take a slightly different approach and track my progress from the beginning till the end of my duromine run. I'm hoping this will keep me motivated and help me see it all the way through. I plan to update my progress on a weekly basis but also talk about any side effects I experience during the week.
So here it goes:
Day 1, Week 1
Weight: 82 kg
Size: 12
Height: 165 cm
Waist: 99 cm
Hips: 113 cm
kg to goal weight: 15 kg
Took the capsule first thing when I woke up at 6:30 am. Didn't feel anything until I was at work and it hit 1pm and I realised I had been focused on my work the whole time and nearly missed lunch. Normally I get hungry at around 10am and have a snack and then count down till lunch at 12:30 so it was definitely a shock to see the time. I wasn't hungry but ate my tuna salad (cliché I know) because I didn't want it to go to waste. Stayed focused the rest of the day, went for an hour walk when I got home, did 3 loads of washing and ironing, made dinner and cleaned up and still not feeling tiered. Only downside was I had an extremely dry mouth all day but did drink about 3L of water so that helped. I've heard some horror stories about sleeping so we'll see how that goes tonight.
So there's my first update - the first of 3 months worth
