I'm in the same boat years of messed up dieting and eating disorders. I want my life back. I want to be healthy. @skie you can do this, you are not alone!!! Yes I a blog and I find it useful, do you have one? It's hard to eat enough when you do not feel hungry, but we need to. How is your day going? Where are you from? I'm in country South Australia.

Day 2: 14.11.16
My day is nearly over and still no negative side effects. Still no buzz feeling either.
I'm still not craving food like I use too, so I'm feeling strong.
Today I ate just because I knew I had to, had a banana for breaky, salad for lunch, nectarine for snack and about to have dinner (spag bowl).
Had my pill at 4 again this morning and I'm feeling exhausted so hopefully get a solid sleep again.
@TheOriginalBeauty, I don't have a blog yet, but I've heard they help.
I'm in Campbelltown, south west Sydney :)

Day 3: 15.11.16
Had broken sleep last night. Still woke up refreshed.
Had an apple for breaky.
Forgot to eat all day.
Came home from work and had half a packet of rice crackers, now waiting for dinner (curry).
Still have no extra energy, I actually feel quite drained and weak.
Haven't lost any weight. But waiting till Sunday for an actual first week result.
Haven't been able to poop since starting, am going to take espon salts before bed tonight, so hopefully that helps.

Day 4: 16.11.16
Had such a terrible sleep, woke up at 1:30am, tossed and turned until 4:30am, got up took my pill then finally fell asleep.

Had an apple for breaky, salad for lunch, banana as a snack and stir Fry for dinner.

Been weighing myself several times a day and still no loss. Feeling a little discouraged but still optimistic.

Next week, I'm going to start walking a few mornings before work to speed things up.

Skie,
First you should stop 'weighing yourself several times a day)) It never works, only disappoints you. The best way - once a week or month. Then you can really see the difference. The slower you lose the better for your body, please keep that in mind! I know I know, you want to see the progress already, but please be patient) Your diet is great, your sleep will improve, therefore you will lose weight trust me. Good luck and believe in the process and in the pills! You should start thinking that it helps, your mind is a strong thing.

Hey skie,

Good luck with your journey. I'm on day 17. On day 8 I finally started sleeping properly again so I hope the same happens to you.

The walking will definitely help. I've stopped driving to work and now catch public transport. This has helped log up to 5 kilometres a day in walking. (Walking to train station etc)

Hang in there you can do it!!

How is everyone going with it?
I am sitting at 69 kilos and haven't moved from there for over a week And I know my doctor won't give me another prescription because my bmi is now in normal range which sucks because I still have 9 kilos to lose and I just can't get under 69-70 I have been struggling with that for 7 months so was hoping to get just one more script!
How are you doing?

Day 5: 17.11.16
Had pill at 4 thirty am.
Had a solid sleep last night, did feel a crash about 4pm.
Was in a foul mood all day, employees were doing my head in, wanted to lose it so many times, but took a deep breathe and bit my tongue. As soon as I got to my car, I cried out of frustration at everyone. Thank God it's Friday tomorrow.
Had crackers for breaky, carrot sticks for lunch and thin pizza for dinner. Had to force myself to eat it all.

Its still a great loss. I do feel your disappointment, it is frustrating when you start to see results than it slows down. I am getting there slowly, it just feels like its taking forever though but my SW:73 CW:67.4 so it is getting there. I just seen people losing 5kgs a week and was hoping it would be me lol. hopefully you are able to keep your weight loss up. keep me posted

Day 6: 18.11.16
Had pill at 5:30 am. Went back to sleep until my alarm for work.
Had a great sleep last night, hopefully it stays this way as I'm exhausted atm.
Woke up in a much better mood, had a lot more patience at work.
It was super hot today and I drank about 4 litres of water.
I struggled to eat anything. Skipped breaky, salad for lunch, didn't snack all day and had 2 slices of left over pizza from last night again for dinner.
It's my first weekend on duromine and I'm having my family over tomorrow for a BBQ. I miss alcohol!

My eyes are happy to see your great progress skie, if you let me write here;)

Day 9: 21.11.16
Had pill about 5 thirty am.
Ate fruit all day and a home made chicken burger for dinner. I would normally eat 2 but after 1, I was satisfied.
Still no extra energy, if anything I'm more tired then before.
I'm probably not going to get a new script for my 2nd month, my dr was hesitant to give me the first months and doubt she'll give me another one anyhow. That's My thoughts atm but we'll see in the next few weeks.

Week 3 and weight loss is starting to slow down. I think im reading to much about about different diets and excersizes because everyone has a different view and it is starting to confuse me.
SW:72.4
Wk1: 69.7
WK2: 67.9
Wk3: 66.4
Slowly getting there, was hoping to get down to 60 for xmas but dont think thats going to happen but still trugging along. how are you going?

Day 15: 27.11.16
2nd weigh in. 93kg

Lost another kilo, so only 2 kg weight loss in 2 weeks. Sounds insignificant compared to others. I need to lose 4 more kgs in the next 2 weeks to reach my goal of 6kgs in the first month. Seems unrealistic but we will see :)
I'm currently on a my period so feeling bloated and gross but I've had 2 people tell me I'm looking thinner in the face this past week :)

Hello everyone,

I have struggled with my weight since i was young i have tried every diet i could find and no matter what year after year i would weigh more and more being that i'm only 24 its expected they i grow but i just kept getting bigger. I have trained 3-4 times a week at the gym since i was 18 and the way my body seems to work is that i can easily build muscle but had for me to burn the fat off. recently a friend of my suggested i speak to a doctor about what i can do and they prescribed me with 30mg of duromine i was worried when i was informed about it as the doctor described it as legal speed. I will post every day about my journey with duromine and my goal to reach my desired healthy weight so i can join the police.

SW 104kg
GW 85kg (or able to complete police entrance physical)

Day 1. (wednesday)
i woke up at 6:30 and got ready for work i decide today was a better day than any to start. i took my first pill at 7am and had a light breakfast. i have seen in other post how people have been saying they still eat even though they are not hungry they just eat less however my doctor said to listen to the pill and not to just eat because you think you should, if anyone has any other opinions i would love to here how they work it. anyway it was about 9:30am and it hit me i went light headed and dizzy like i was high i also experienced dry mouth and felt like i was talking to people at the speed of light. this lasted for about 30-35 mins before going away and i was left with a buzz of energy. i didn't end up having lunch but drank about 3.5-4L of water before i finished work at 5pm i then went home and decided i would take the doctors advice and only eat if i was actually hungry. about 7pm i got a little bit peckish and made a sandwich for dinner. since this day i have not had any side effects close to these ones.
