How you hun, you getting some sleep??
Hi there! Not a whole lot of sleep the first 3 nights but seems to be improving now. Side effects fading as well ( headache, thirst etc)
Not weighing myself until 1 week in... in hopes of a little loss! Appetite/ cravings certainly decreased and my nightly red wines have stopped (just don't feel like it! So weird as I love my red wine!

HI hun

I am EXACTLY the same - I had one glass of red wine with a friend the other week ans she left the bottle...which is standing at exactly where we left it that night, I just dont feel like any! And I too love my red wine. But it can only be a good thing hey - because when I drink I tend to snack, so win win....

I slept like a ROCK last night, first time in absolute weeks I had my alarm wake me up - Ive been up at 3am every night (trip to bathroom) and up by at least an hour before my alarm goes off. I have less headaches too, which is very grateful for. But I feel bit lethargic today, must say.

So I took the plunge this morning and weighed myself (have not weighed myself at all since I started nearly 3 weeks ago), and although I dont know what Ive lost I do feel I have and the scale was a good number (lower than Ive been in a long time, although not really "low" in comparison to what it should stand at ...lol)

When is your first weigh in?

Hi ladies, new to the forum. I started my second course of duromine today with a 6 week break since the first. Wanting/needing to lose 10-15kg. Duromine was a last resort for me. I have struggled with my weight since my late teens. Hitting my heaviest at 21 y/o. I am a full time working 34 y/o mum of two and struggle to find the time and motivation for exercise. Looking for some like minded support on this path.
Welcome to the group! We all have a very similar story, also single mum of two. And also NOOOOOOOOOO time to exercise....grief I dont get time for myself whatsoever! let alone to gym, and if I actually had a bit of free time gym is the last thing I feel like doing. Why did you stop after the frist time of trying D - interest to know since I also started in July and then stopped. The side effects were too much for me. But much better this time around

So 3 more days till weigh in - what are you hoping to have lost in the first week? Or you just going to be happy with whatever the scale says? Dont think Ive asked - how much do you want to lose in total?

Yup! Will weigh Friday AM!!!
I'm 170cms tall @ 86 kilos ...I'd be happy with 75 kilos as my final goal I think?? (I need to be realistic) ... so here's hoping I'm on my way!!
Although new side effect - constipation .... lovely!!

try drinking more water... if you already are drinking plenty, try having prunes or prune juice. Kiwi fruits are the ones that helped me cope with the same problem on Duromine. If nothing helps, get a laxative. Don't wait for too long - it's definitely not good and surely far from being a pleasant thing. Good luck!

Had terrible constipation the first time, almost none this time .... and because of one single difference in my behavior...WATER WATER WATER. No joke!

Oh hey Lized! Thanks for the welcome....I took a break after my first course of D for no other real reason than not having time to see my doctor for the prescription. I was also finding on the seventh day straight I got next to no sleep, combined with my work hours I think my body just needed to catch up on some zzzzzzz.

sh I could never do that - I would become so blue each time it went up a 100g! Some days I am bloated then I weigh more and even though my logic tells me I didnt GAIN weight it deflates me when the scale goes up lol

I can relate to that! I lost 3kg but then just sat on the same weight and I had terrible anxiety and couldnt sleep so I decided to stop....I wasnt coping and with not losing weight it didnt make sense to stay on for longer. This time around its much better, thank goodness
