Okay - so I didn't really get around to writing in for the last two days ... so thought I'd combine them together. Nothing too exciting has happened really.
Day three I woke up at 5am again ... I was getting a bit annoyed with waking up so early! I had my normal breakfast (which is now two pieces of wholegrain toast with banana, and yoghurt) which is normally a lot more than I normally eat, but I thought while I'm feeling nauseous I will put a little bit more food into my stomach - hopefully to absorb more of the Duromine. I had been drinking kiwi fruit juice to help ... uuh ... clear the pipes
. I tried to watch my diet, and regardless I think I'm doing good. We had visitors over and I made pavalova and slice, along with a delicious dinner of roast lamb, potatoes, peas etc. I ended up crashing at about 8.30pm, I was so tired from the lack of sleep the days before.
Day four I awoke at 4am, which really annoyed me. I laid in bed 'til about 5am, hopeful of getting back to sleep, but no luck. So I got up and had breakfast and my array of pills as per usual. While I was still nauseous, everything else seemed to be working better - which is great. By about 6.30am I felt a little tired - so I took advantage of this and fell back to sleep. While I've been very talkative, I don't seem to feel that "high" that makes you want to keep busy. But the pill is doing a great job of suppressing my appetite.
I've also been going for a 30min walk each day ... I know this doesn't sound like a lot, and to me this sounds pathetic because I used to go for a real workout at the gym ... but this morning is day 5 and, I won't lie, I'm in a lot of pain - despite being on panadeine. I really wish the doctors would hurry up and find what's wrong with me - most 18 year olds should be able to go for a 30min walk each day.
. The original plan was to do a 30min walk in the morning, and an hour of swiss ball exercises in the afternoon (along with a little bit of time on the ab circle pro) ... but so far, it's just too hard. I miss my slim, toned body !
I don't feel as though I've lost a whole lot of weight ... but then again I don't expect to lose it that fast when I'm not exercising and working up a sweat. I hope to lose 4-5kg's by christmas day (which would have been a whole month) which would mean I have to lose 1kg a week - which I think in my circumstances is appropriate. If I can lose this, my doctor may give it to me for another month, and that hopefully means another 4-5kg's lost.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
. I hope it helps motivate you ...
