Hi Reemz,
Welcome to the club. Your starting stats are similar to what mine were when I started duromine. I'm 164 cm and my starting weight was 85.7kg.

Duromine will only work if you make changes to your lifestyle. If you can do that, then you'll enjoy seeing the weight drop off.

I think everything is possible if you try hard and if you stick to proper weight loss routine.
Remember: eat right, drink water, exercise and rest enough.

Ive been on it for a week and 3 days now and ive lost 2.7kg!!!! You need to drink a lot of water, i keep a 1.25 litre bottle with me all the time and drink it throughout the day i usually fill it up twice or 3 times in the same day. Dont forget to eat or else youll gain the weight back on when u finish ur duromine. Eat small portioned healthy foods no take out and try to cut back on sugar as much as you can, fruits are okay. Try to fit in some exercise too if u cant get to the gym, a skipping rope is your next best option!! Squats and lunges are great to add in there aswell !!

I'm half way through my first day and I feel fine - no side affects and I actually feel a bit tired! Hopefully this will and the hunger pass after the first day and I'm going to the gym to do interval training every day so hopefully that will help too :)

Hi everyone,

I have decided to start a blog/post for duromine so that i can track this journey. I will keep it posted with food, weight and any side effects.

SW: 80.3
Height: 178cm
-One Flat White in the morning
-One hot chocolate for lunch
-Ham and cheese sandwich for dinner
Lots of walking today

Side effect: cant sleep at all but not hungry either. Ate just for energy.

Hi Bam Bam,

Yes. Once i start sleeping better i will introduce the following. This previously helped me shed 32kgs. From 102kgs to 70kgs. I gained weight recently hence duromine need.

Plan was as follows:
Monday,Wednesday and Friday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs
Lunch: Apple, hand full almonds ( around 10) and fresh cucumber
Dinner: small serving of boiled chicken breast
Snack: cucumber only ( water based)
Water: 3 Litres if possible

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Breakfast: Tea or coffee
Lunch: small leafy salad with a protein if possible
Dinner: small serving of red meat
Snacl: apple
Water: 600mls

Sunday
Not strict but portion control


This should provide enough energy to complete daily tasks and water stimulates flushing of salts. Also note i rarely season my meat. Salt retains water greatly. Dressing is vinegar or balsamic mixed with a bit of oil.

Btw only slept 3 hours :(
And period is extra delayed. Usually happens when i rapidly lose weight

Wow wish mine was this quick. I lost 3kgs in the first 3 days now it's 1kg a week, sometimes nothing.

Do you do any major exercising whilst on this?

No exercise
Only been walking to my car and back after work which is 15 minutes of walking a day.

Also note i cut duromine out from 1st july to 7th for a break.

5kgs not bad
Still have 3 weeks left of duromine

Hi Guys!

Its Day 1 and I've just started taking Duromine. I've just had bub no.2 and put on 15kgs:confused:. After my first baby I lost 17kgs!!! it was long and hard but was so proud of myself for finding the willpower. So, I was pretty disappointed that I've put it back on again :(. I went to the Doc and asked what else I could do ontop of eating better and exercise etc as it only got me so far last time.. It took me 7 months of hard dieting and I'm just not sure I could/would be able to do it again. Especially with a 3 yr old that loves her Rice and Pasta dishes.

My Start Weight is 107.6kgs
My Dream Weight is 80kgs (I say dream as I cannot remember the last time I was this weight)

the lowest weight I've been in the last 15 yrs was 91kg - not sure how I will go on this drug as my body doesn't seem to want to shift the weight but I'm determined as nothing fits me unless you count my maternity wear.

I'm just so sick of everyone telling me, but you've just had a baby! of course you can't fit into your old clothes.

yes I had a baby - yes you put on weight generally - but that excuse doesn't make my clothes 2 sizes larger as if by Magic! TBH - I wasn't worried about trying this drug, I don't feel like I'm cheating. My goal is to lose weight - as much as possible as I'm sick of having nothing to wear and feeling (for lack of a better word) FAT.

Hi there.
I'm just starting tomorrow and of similar height and weight to you so would love to go through this journey with you.
I'm a 36yr old mum of 3 girls and been up and down from 95-105kgs for the last 10 years or so..
I go to the gym regularly but find that just makes me more hungry. But if I don't go, I stay home and boredom eat.. Hoping to have an energy boost and kick cravings and boredom eating in the butt.
