Hi April,

Thank you for the welcome! I have been exercising and eating healthy since I started the duromine. Hubby and I have installed a new gym at home to do weights as well.

Oh wow! Bravo for you, guys! Working out together, setting new sports goals and reaching them is a totally different level of relationship. =) The new and good one.

Btw, great results for daily activity. Way to go! Hope you’ll see encouraging results very very soon! =) Take care

13th March Monday

Very quick post for this day as it was my partners birthday we spent most of the day out... I was going to try to take one day a week and not exercise... not sure if a day of rest helps to kick start my loss... doesn't matter as I didn't do it ;) Great news is the scales said 95.9 YAY!

Yesterday was a poached egg on toast for breakfast and chicken with avocado, cheese and tomato sauce with vegetables, we had lemon and pecan tart for dessert.... plus a glass of wine... I didn't have dinner as this meal was a little later in the day so I had a protein bar and cup of tea

Exercise I did 10 on the vibration machine and 20 mins zumba

Hey there! How’s it going? Did you have a good night’s sleep today? Hope that having just 1 cup of green tea helped you fight the sleep problems. =))

It’s a new week and I want to wish you to finally beat down those 96 and get to the coveted 95. =) You deserve it!!!

Glad to know you’re now strongly addicted to exercises. Weight loss is just one benefit of regular physical activities, and you know it. You know it just as good, as you know that you are a very devoted sweet tooth. ;)) it’s ok to have a treat, unless you keep having them constantly in unlimited amounts. However, I am sure that after this journey, after all the efforts you are making and after all the efforts you still have to make, you won’t let yourself gain it all back.

Poor thing… wheat grass …

Hope, you won’t have to drink anything nasty and will have your biggest wish come true.

Keeping fingers crossed for 95 and wishing you a fantastic day and week!!! Keep it up!

Hi April,

It wasn't as bad with one cup and yesterday I didn't have any green tea

Well your wish came true... í'm in 95 even thou I was naughty with my wine yesterday my weight is the same today no change from yesterday;) I hope it gets better by tomorrow :)

Yes wheat grass is pretty bad ... me too:laughing:

so I am off to do some exercises I missed yesterday o_O

Wishing you a great day!

Oh wow! Congrats, my dear! 95… “they grow so fast” =))) I am so happy to hear that, Dee! Yet, I think you were as good as ready for this number on your scales and are already looking forward to.. what? 93? =)) I guess, the next time you will get extremely excited, happy and yelling all over the place will be your 90. =)

Having 1 day of rest is ok (even though you didn’t have it – well done! =)). If you can keep it to just 1 day. It’s the same thing like with those cheating meals. Allow it to yourself as long as you can limit yourself with just one. Congratulations on your partner’s birthday and a great day spent together. =)

Glad your sleep got better and bravo for compensating the “lost” exercises. Just remember not to over exhaust yourself. Otherwise, you know how sore you feel the next day and have to skip more exercises. =) have a great day and keep it up!

Hi April
Thanks for that
Breakfast is usually a piece of wholemeal toast and a cup of coffee
Lunch is a salad, I'll either make a garden type salad with avocado and feta or a coleslaw or broccoli salad
Dinner is usually something like spag Bol. Home made pizza, sausage casserole those types of things
I will nibble on a piece of fruit or handful of nuts if hungry during the day
Exercise is usually non existent, maybe get 1/2hr - 1hr of running in on the weekend. I'm at a desk job and been have been making the efffort toget up and move more. This weekend I'll probably be doing at least 1/2hr of cardio exercise each day (fri- mon)

Hi Sarah! How are you doing on this lovely day? Any news on your weight loss progress? So looking forward to your update and hope it will be a positive one. Take care

Hi Kyl133. How are you, dear? Any news? Are you still going on with following your dietitian’s recommendations? You’re slowly getting to the end of 1-month course. How is it going so far? Are you planning to continue for another month? Take care!

Hey AllyM, how is it going? Did your headaches subside? How is it going so far? Have a great day and may your efforts bring you to a happy result! =)

Ahahaha! So 93, I was right. =) You know, it is a good thing to have rest for a day. It all has to do with “your body getting used to” the loads and restrictions. It’s the same thing as when they suggest upping the caloric value of your food by 10-20% one day and go on with your usual eating regime, to boost weight loss or overcome the plateau. So, not having a workout in a day means you will leave your body more calories than you usually do, so pretty much the same. Another thing.. if your aim was building muscles, you would have to exercise every other day – to let your muscles recover and build up. However, this is not your main goal for now, so you are doing everything correctly and… great! Ok, dear, have a great day as you wake up. More great mood, more activity and more excitement!!! (praying you’re not sore in the morning)

Oh hi again! Congratulations about the new puppy! =)) Getting more reasons to be active. =) Hope, he’ll get used to the new home soon and you will be getting your sleep.

And, of course, congratulations on your weight loss progress. Well done! Still, I would advice you to have a snack between your main meals. I see you do eat very little and it’s great. However, your body might shift to starvation mode soon and you might stop losing weight. Some nuts, half a fruit, a couple of tbsp. of yogurt or cottage cheese, a couple of sips of your remained smoothie (if you can consume it some time after it’s made). Something insignificant and small in size. I understand how hard it is to eat something when you’re not hungry, yet you should do it. Boost your metabolism even more. And have a great day! Make sure you do everything correctly with the weight lifting, avoid overworking. Good luck!

ha ha

Oh that's so interesting.... I actually read about increasing your calories on one day of the week to boost weight loss (he made it sound way better... i think it was like.... you can have that little treat you have craved all week ;) what treat!! like choc ice cream maybe  seriously he did say same as you up to 20% on your calories

Still sore... strange but using the pilates machine isnt as bad as trying to lift my arms above my head... so I do what I can as in maybe 15 above the head and the rest lower and then 4 arm ones on the pilates... I just keep thinking it means Ive had a good workout... even with the zumba on parts that I cant do I will incorporate those inner thigh so today I could feel my inner thigh when I walked  Im also doing ones on the pilates machine

Thanks again

CONGRATULATIONS! Dee, that’s a huge success!!! Do you realize you already lost 10% of your initial weight? So... I have looked through your very first message, and I see that you already reached 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 goal. So, all of them. Time to set new goals. Time to reach the stars! =))

I am so happy that you finally make the pilates machine work for you! Tell me, did you notice any change with your back so far? Any improvements? Now that you’re so “workable”, you could ask your doctor about some special exercises to work through your back, I mean to tone your back muscles. It is very important , and now you can do it. Your muscles are already 10 times stronger than they were at the beginning. Just a suggestion… health is our priority =)

Hi April Thank you... I didn't think of it that way wow 10% pretty impressive if i do say so

Oh new goals.... well looks like I will be busy setting some new ones;)

I just notice a well being in myself.. as for my back I cant say that I have.... but I have noticed other things that I did struggle with are not so bad.... as in sometimes sitting on a chair or getting off it etc

How funny you say that I am about to see a specialist and that is something I was going to ask, I wouldn't even mind seeing a exercise physiologist again I know they say I need to work on my core which helps strengthen the back... I have found some on youtube so until I see her I will keep going the way I have :)

I noticed my tummy was bloated yesterday at first I thought what have I eaten? and then I realised its nearly that time of the month again :( thank goodness my hunger is not as bad as last time... touch wood!
