Whoooohooo Day 5 done and dusted!

All in all a successful day
Had 3.5L of water and slept much better....did a 30 min fast walk.

Breakfast was banana/bluberry/maca root powder/almond milk smoothies

Snack : 10 almonds and 10 cashews and a tub of low fat yoghurt

Lunch : chicken avocado salad...might have over done it with some thick mayo dressing...

Having the same salad for supper, only won't have dressing now.

Preparing beets for my veg and lentils for tomorrow's meals...can't wait!

Again, what a great diet plan, Mission_75! Anytime I read your post, it makes my mouth water:laughing:
Speaking of mayo dressing, try maybe to blend some extra vergine olive oil (like one tablspoon) with lemon juice and a tiny little bit of mustard, sugar and salt separately and then mix with the salad. Tastes almost like mayo, but contains less calories if you are worried about that. And suits the chicken salads best. I'm not sure how greek yogurt combines with chicken and avocado, but who knows, maybe this would be tasty too.

Going great, Dee! How about upping plank by 5 sec? small challenge… OR… choose any of the exercises in the video and add it (5 sec, as well. Don’t push. Just make other muscles work)… the one you can do without your back aching. (I like the side plank… wonder which you will choose).

=)) did you get any new piece of clothes? At least a simple T-shirt, something… new workout clothes? No, socks won’t do… =)) can’t say I am a shopaholic, yet I did rush to the store during the entire weight loss process. Once I was getting to any significant weight loss, I would get something that fits the body tight – to note how smaller I managed to become and to see that I should not stop, that perfection still requires work. =)) (that’s to your phrase about not realizing you lost so much weight)

Well i struggled to get to 20... but i also just did my arms one on the pilates... I managed 35 thou ;) next time I wont do the plank after doing the pilates.... I will see how I go with the other ones wont know till I try

Yes im booked in for the late April to see the specialist... so I will just keep listening to my body in the meantime... I had acupuncture yesterday... I cant stand the needles going in but once they are I feel so much better she noticed straight away that I had lost weight :laughing:and when I went to pay the receptionist said you are looking good.... :laughing:

I have a few firmer pieces of clothing.... cant wear my bra anymore :( but i have plenty of others that I haven't worn in ages/years :p I will look for my other work pants and see how they look as the others are getting a little big ;) YAY!!! I actually just brought a new pair of work out pants and new runners:laughing:

Thursday 23/3

I want to get excited but my scales struggled going up then down etc so if its still this weight tomorrow Il be excited and you will hear me scream reading was 93.9

Exercise I have done 40 mins zumba, 3km 20 fast 10 slow on the higher number :cool:. 35 sec plant, pilates machine 4 x 20 on the highest number, inner thigh, squat, 2 different arm ones

Breakfast was an apple and yogurt, snack was a boiled egg, plus my WATER ;) lunch was 2 chilli mussels and 6 crisitini sticks with cheese, dinner was beef with veggies, and I made a lemon slice so I had 2 spoonfuls or 4 teaspoons for dessert

Till tomorrow;)
 
Rocking Day 4

Went and did laps at the pools this morning. Awesome start to my day!!!

Breakie 2 eggs scrambled with 4 cherry tomatoes and 1/4 of an avocado
Snack another green tea
Lunch half a lamb wrap filled with salad
Snack Atkins choc and nut low carb protein bar with green tea
Dinner lasagna made with spinach wraps instead of pasta
Smashed back 5.5 ltrs if water today

Went to the movies and wasn't really hungry but got a small popcorn anyways, didn't even eat a quarter of it

Felt really good today. Can't wait to see my weigh in results. Forgot to measure waist but will do on Monday and compare with following week.

Not feeling the hunger pangs or insomnia but mouth still a lil dry

Sigh!...Day 6

Where to start ?....bad day!...

Have terrible period pains and had stressful day at work!
Took only 2L of water today :-(
Did no exercise. ...took my rest day.

Breakfast was berries and yoghurt
Snack 3 passion fruits with mix of nuts....100 g ( which is a lot! :-( )
Got too busy then didn't have lunch
Supper was a beet/lentil salad

Then I ravaged through half a large papaya and yoghurt...AFTER supper!!!! :-(

I am so terrified for tomorrow's weigh in. You guys Duromine is my last resort. ..I have been on every diet on the planet and can't seem to lose weight...I am worried I won't have moved a single kilogram on the scale tomorrow as usual!...I'm tearing up just thinking of not losing anything tomorrow...

Day 1 - 30mg Duromine today 24/3/17. I have a massive BMI of 46.9. I have had a bit of a look and haven't seen anyone as big as me commenting here I'm going to give it a good try. Had the first tablet 7am and by 9am I felt great! Fingers crossed this lasts. I'm off to take the dog for a walk :)

Last night i did a pretend sit for 35 sec
Friday 24th March

Well Hello 93.4 :laughing: just reminds me that I will do this!

I had two apples and a yogurt for breakfast, lunch was a ham and salad sandwich... dinner was meat with veggies again Ive snacked on 6 cristini sticks and a slice of cheese, a pretend coffee... plus my water ;) I also had a tiny piece of a peanut slice after lunch.. I made it...I have cut it into tiny pieces.. maybe a cm and a half in diameter x a cm high... it should freeze nicely:cool:

Exercise ive done 1hr 10 zumba, not doing my vibro machine machine at the moment plus I was having so much fun i didn't realise the time... I did a 35 sec plank, l will do the Pilates machine a bit later 15 x 4 different exercises and another pretend sit of 35 sec before bed

Till tomorrow.. :)

Hey! Don’t get discouraged so soon. I know it all about the bad days, and I can totally understand how horrible period pains can be. It is good that you had a relaxing day, without exercising, if it was that bad. Otherwise, you might have not just the papaya (which is almost 100% sugar-free, so it’s fine) and yogurt, but a whole fridge of something totally not promoting weight loss. It’s ok, it’s fine… this was the day when you filled your body quite a lot of useful fats, minerals and vitamins (3 passion fruit and A LOT of nuts), and fiber. Make today a more protein day to compensate yesterday. And please, be careful with the nuts. They are delicious and are extremely useful, yet they are the same high in calories, as they are rich in useful elements.

As for the weight loss.. are you kidding? You’re in the worst time of month for having the first weigh in. don’t let the scales discourage you, if they don’t show any weight loss. It won’t be an accurate result. Your task is to focus, forget about anything you might have slipped on these days (like mayo and avocado – that’s super heavy. Avocado is already rich in fats, and we should start building the “anti-processed foods” habit right now). So, avocado stays, and the mayo has to go… wave it goodbye at least for two weeks. Then, if you crave for it too much, you can have it with a meal. Though, I am sure that in 2 weeks you won’t desire mayo anymore. =)

Take good care of your mental state and smile to yourself every time you see yourself in the mirror. You are changing your life for better, and it’s one of the best thing in the world that we can do for ourselves and our close people. Cheers!

And the pressure is on! =)) Yes, of course, we all know that she will do it, and still, the suspense… next day or the day after tomorrow… these 93 almost sneaked up, and you’re the only one who knows how much you worked to see these numbers.

See, I knew you are about to be hit with a waterfall of compliments. =) it’s so great when someone says: wow, you look so great, did you lose weight. And you give your best and proudest smile and say “YES I Did! Thank you!” and you can almost feel how you spread your shoulders and make a straight back and fly away like a butterfly from flower to flower. =0)) At least, that’s the way it was happening with me.

Every time, I mean every time your updates put a huge smile of content on my face! You go just great! That’s an awesome process you have developed and I am sure the progress will make you happy and satisfied.

It would be good if you would make all basic measurements, and not just the waist. Seeing other places (even the neck) getting slimmer will also make you happy, trust me! =))

Wonder what you will have during the weekend, and if you will enjoy more pool exercises. Btw, there are some good routines on youtube for exercises in water that can help you work through all of your body. And they are quite enjoyable, and even fun. If you don’t/can’t/ have no time to search for these, and are willing to try it, just tell me and I will post the ones I prefer. =) Cheers and keep it going!!!

Weighed myself first thing I the morning.... I am down a whooping 3.2kg.....so oo glad!

On my second litre of water thus far

Breakfast was a fruit salad with hemp seeds

Snack : kiwi

I'm planning on having a quinoa salad for both lunch and supper...and to have one more litre of water later in the day at gym!

Congratulations with your first-week weight loss, and may the second week bring you lots of joy, too. (Just remember, 1st week’s weight loss is usually the loss of retained water+fat, and now you’re into losing just fat and gaining muscles, too)

diet sounds really healthy! Well done… just make your afternoon snack cottage cheese. Yes, quinoa is also rich in protein, yet not as much, as you might need.

Have a good workout in the gym and enjoy the rest of your day. First results – such a huge motivation to work even harder! Best of luck!

Hi supremekerry, I too am on week one, I ideally would like to lose around 30kg. I think this forum is a great motivator as we are all on our on journeys but can support each other's success along the way xo
