Sorry I haven't had time to post updates. I'm working full time, doing a business management course and now packing to move house next week.
Day 14
Just a quick stats update:
Eating very well, drinking lots of water. Hot yoga 3x per week and work outs in between.
SW: 83.5kg
CW: 78 kg (yesterday AM)
GW: 62kg
I took a 3 day hiatus from Duromine as the heart palpitations on Thursday night freaked me out. Still continued to eat properly, however my energy levels plummeted drastically. Back on Duromine today but reduced back to 15mgs.

I have to say that I am amazed with the results and everything you do! 5.5 kg down in just two weeks! CONGRATULATIONS!

Sorry about the heart palpitations and another applause to you for controlling so well your condition and Duromine dose. Very clever! Hope, you won’t have any problems from now on and will continue moving forward with the same great pace!

I've just caught up on everything and WOW ur doing so well. The last time I read your thread you were dancing with soup cans and now ur doing Zumba, well done.

91 will come soon enough, it doesn't seem like that long ago I was reading 96? Seriously well done.

Week 1 done and dusted!!! Woop woop

Just weighed myself and did a double take, actually quadruple takes
Didn't believe it so had to get partner to check

Starting weight - 133.1kgs
Weight today - 129.1kgs
Lost 4kgs
Like WTF???
Speechless
I'm so freaking stoked right now

Today's haps
Breakie porridge with banana
Snack green tea
Lunch chicken salad
Snack peach
Dinner 3 sausages corn and half a kumara (sweet potato)
5ltrs of water today
2km walk with kids whilst son had footy practice

I'm feeling awesome!!

Hope you guys are doing awesome on your journey and keep up the fantastic work

Ready to smash out week two. See you tomorrow ✌️

Thanks for the advice April, yep i have been eating what I think is healthy.
Breakfast 2 soft boiled eggs and one piece toast.
Morning tea an orange
Lunch ham salad wrap in Mountain bread
Dinner palm size piece chicken breast with steamed cabbage beans carrots and onions and little butter cracked salt pepper.
I've got after school activities so will be out til approx 11.30 so I've got some red grapes to snack on.

Drank about 4litres water today and only managed the 40 min walk as so much on and aching calves... hope this passes as well as insomnia!

Monday 27th March - weight 93 spot on

Yesterday I did 45 min zumba, 2km on the bike 20 fast 10 slow higher number , 4 x 20 on the pilates machine, on all 4 straps o_Ofor the squats and inner thigh back to one for my arms :) 35 sec plank

Breakfast was cereal with yogurt, snack was 2 peanut squares 1cm x 1cm each, an apple, I also had a pretend coffee with almond milk, lunch was a home made meat burger with salad, dinner was pasta with mushrooms/bacon spring onions and evaporated milk, plus some cheese.and best of all lots of water

I will be back to do today's post later :laughing:

Hi April it will an extra challenge now as 93 doesn't want to go :eek: But I will get there!!

Yes not sure why I had the stomach issues... but it only lasted a few hours on and off and not a full day otherwise i would not have been able too exercise

Hi Everyone,

Well 93 has decided to stay an extra day! weight is 93

Breakfast was cereal and a pretend coffee, snacks were an apple, 3 cristini sticks and half a slice of cheese lunch was a smoothie with peanuts, blueberries, yogurt, chia and vanilla protein plus almond milk , dinner was ham plus salad. I will be having a tea before bed... just to get things movingo_O

Exercise I did 35 min zumba, 1 x 35 sec plank, 10 on the vibration machine and 4 x 20 on the pilates

Oh I found a smaller pair or work pants (looks like all the other smaller ones are packed away so thats another job for another day) the others were falling down and I was starting to roll them up around my waist... when I went into work one of the ladies said I think its time you get a new wardrobe your clothes are hanging off you... I said I have!.... these pants are smaller... the legs are wide but they fit around my waist... Im still wearing my big shirts... but they are comfy plus the weather has been warm so its ideal when the weather cools i will go back to tighter wearing clothes but it was so nice to be told my clothes look too big for me :cool:

I'm definitely loving this journey so far. I'm guessing the 4kgs was water retention but hey I'm going to take that small win. Step by step I'm going to get to 10kgs which I decided is going to be my small goal

You’re a star! =) it is often so hard for ladies to squeeze out a compliment… And this, my dear, is a great proof that you DID LOSE WEIGHT!!!! “I still have my fat days were I think.....have I really lost that weight doesn't look like it…” remember, who said that? Do you realize that such days should never happen again, my dear? =)


Can’t wait for your first massive shopping with your new body. That is going to be something you will LOVE! I remember mine… I was convincing the shop assistant that I need jeans 2 sizes larger, and she kept trying to give me my size. I felt like yelling at her at a certain moment “why on earth does she argue with me? I know better!” but I said “Fine! I will put these on. If they rip, I am not paying.” Well, needless to say, I paid for those, and another pair, and a couple of T-shirts MY SIZE. :oops:

Are you planning to find your smaller work pants this weekend? I am sure it will be interesting to try those on.

Oh yes.... I have so many over sized shirts... but I also kept all my smaller tee shirts ;) It will be interesting as my sister is coming over for easter with my brother in laws parents... none of them know about my loss only my mum and an uncle and auntie that saw me a few weeks back.. so I am looking for something tight fitting for the day ;).. surprise LOL

The pair that I found are smaller by one size.;) they fit my waist. but with a long shirt she probably thought l had the same pants on.... I have also found another pair in the back room they are also a smaller size :laughing:.... all the other ones are packed away... I know where I just have to get to them :confused:so the thought of that makes me say those 2 pairs might do LOL

Those darn 93's dont want to go... arhhhhhh go away I say.... go away...

So.... guess who has lost 16 cm off there waist. Yup me! Il show those scales for not showing me a loss... the measuring tape did ;)

No my tea didn't really work :(... I have another tea so I might try that one tonight.... I will also be having oats for breakfast tommorow

I think your sister and her family will be astonished with the way they see you. =)) did you ever watch any of those shows where they make people lose some weight and then proceed with some plastic surgery all over their body/face, and then they come back and everyone sees them, and they all or WOOOW!!! I think, it’s goona be the same with you =)) just make sure you get the outfits that looks the best on you, make their jaws drop to the floor! =)) oh, I am so happy for you and everything you managed to achieve by now! You’re so strong and purposeful, Dee! Never forget that! Cheers!

Wednesday 29th March

93 is staying a little longer than I want :mad:

Breakfast today was a boiled egg, mid morning I had an apple, and a pretend almond milk coffee, lunch was tuna with cristini sticks dinner was orange ruffy/sea perch with salad I also had a small slice of cheesecake

Exercise was 45 min Zumba, 20 on the vibration machine, I just rode 2 km on the bike, 1km I did 20 fast 10 slow the next km i did 30 fast 10 slow all on the higher number :eek: plus I did 4 x 20 leg and arm exercises on the Pilates machine earlier

Till tomorrow... I am off to make my new tea :cool:

Hi April, I think your right too.... so im waiting on my tea to kick in funny enough i was a little lighter this morning 92.9 I went back to bed after taking my tablet as I am home today then 3 hrs later I thought I would weigh myself again.. not sure why as I know the time of day changes your weight and I was 400 gm lighter... needless to say as much as I would love to say that's my weight I know its not a true reflection... then again I did weigh myself at 4 this morning? that's an 1hr earlier than normal... doesn't really matter as Monday is my official weigh in day and I know I am doing all the right things... .. they say patience is a virtue so maybe tomorrow morning I will get my reward with a nice looking 92 something ;)

The really weird thing is I jumped on the scales and I felt like I was in the wrong kilo as in 90 range was overweight for me :eek: (hmm that must be a premonition... look out 80's Im on my way) I was like that cant be I couldn't have put on that weight I jumped off jumped back on and said to myself you idiot.... LOL

Yes I was really pleased especially when I held 8cm on one side WOW... ive also lost 10cm on my hips, 6cm under the breast, 5cm on each leg and 4cm on my arms I tried to make sure I measure the same parts each time... so I picked the widest area on the leg etc to measure its taken awhile to see that drop ha I just realised I brought a dress online awhile back (takes weeks for them to come from overseas sometimes) anyway silly me didn't look at measurements Ive ordered 3xl or 4xl before but when I looked at the waist measurements after I ordered the 4xl it was 98cm I thought bugga no way will that fit I need a mini me for that dress... but who knows I may just be able to wear that at easter if its not too cold :laughing:

Ha... yes Ive watched some of those shows for inspiration they work so hard with such determination :) I had less weight than them. When I started doing exercises, being motivated was hard at times so I would say if they can do it so can I and I am proud to say I have... I am feeling more and more confident that all these exercises will be a part of my life from now on...

Thanks April... I better go shake my booty and see if I can get this tea to work LOL

Aha! So your scales are also exhausted from showing the same numbers.. they also want to see you smiling as you reach 92. =)) I got a feeling that you will be about 91.8 by Monday… just a premonition =0))

Yet, your premonition is way better!! Ahaha!!! Just imagining your emotions… like “what the hell? When did I manage to put that much on? o_O” Hilarious! AND it’s a proper thinking! You know where you want to be, and that’s where you’re going.

Fingers crossed for that dress to fit just perfectly! And a nice hairstyle and some fresh-looking makeup… they won’t recognize you. =) I am sure your eyes are sparkling even brighter now. And I am sure your head is higher than it used to be. The confidence you feel is something irreplaceable. Treasure it and never forget what you had to go through.

You know, I also think you will keep exercising. You got the taste of it and I see you like it. Being active always gives you more energy and great mood, that’s, of course, besides a fit body. =)
