Hi April thanks for checking in on me. I'm getting maybe 4 to 5 hours sleep a night most nights. I've been watching the scales and disappointed to see no more weight loss even though weigh in day isn't till Friday yes I know I shouldn't have checked lol. Anyway decided I would up the exercise and eat less as obviously not doing enough.

So starting Monday 40 mins swimming breast stroke and 40 mins treading water and 30 min walk. Tuesday 2 walks 30 mins each walked just over 5kms. Wednesday (today) 35 min walk and 20 Mins various exercises at free outdoor gym. Downloaded the my fitness app and can use it to monitor calories so can see I've been eating approx 1000 to 1100 calories. Drinking 2.5 to 3ltrs day water. I have had spells of feeling hungry which I didn't think would happen on duromine but have resisted just ate couple of almonds which factored into the calorie count.

Feel like I've obviously messed up my body being so fat for so long but I'm hanging in there how long can I keep holding on to this fat surely the scales will have to go down eventually!!
 
Thank you ladies :) I had my weigh in with my doctor yesterday and all Together so far I've lost 11kg with my diet and excerises taking the Duromine so far.

I found the 40mg way too strong as I had so many side affects compare to the 30mg so this month going back down to 30mg and continuing my journey towards my 55-60kg goal!

Current weight 84.5kg

Not that new avatar image… I didn’t see your body before you started Duromine. But what I see now looks very pretty and so fragile. What height do you have? Looks like you lost a lot more than 11 kg. Congratulations on such fantastic results of such a great work!

How do you feel? More confident? Enjoying the changes? Bought any new clothes?

Keep it up and I hope 30 mg will do the trick, just as well as the 40 did. Still, you are the one who does the main trick = )) Keep it up!!! Good luck
 
Had maybe 4 hours sleep over night in 10 - 20 minute lots from what I can figure seeing the time each time I woke. Really struggling going for a 30 minute walk this morning. I ate 2 soft boiled eggs and a piece of toast before I went to pep me up a bit but didn't seem to help. I enjoyed the burst of energy from Duromine first week now I dont think I can feel it. Sticking to eating under calorie allowance that is suggested in myfitness app. Doctor had suggested doing it with 2 shakes and one small meal but I am glad I didnt try this on shake diet as couldnt have maintained it. I know I need to exercise more and more to try to get these scales moving but I seriously doubt I can manage it today. Not feeling strong today and I have a late night ahead with after school activities with the kids. Wont be hitting my bed till at least 1130pm so I should be so tired by then I will have to sleep!!

Hello, poor you. What time do you take Duromine? May be try taking it a bit earlier in the morning. As for no energy… I heard people had 1-2 sips of coffee somewhere in the first part of the day to solve this. Even though I am not for having coffee while on Duromine, I know such measure might help. It’s you to decide, whether you like the idea or not.

Did you consider getting sleeping pills? You do need to sleep. And your hunger might result exactly from the sleep deficiency.

I am also very happy you didn’t follow your doctor’s advice about the shakes. As long as you eat fresh healthy food and drink enough water, you don’t need any artificial stuff. Yes, you might have a shake if you don’t have time to cook anything and it’s time for your meal. Better a shake than fast food or a meal skipped.

I hope really much that after all the activities you will finally manage to sleep full night.

PS. If you do go to get the sleeping pills, don’t forget to inform the pharmacist about Duromine. You don’t need any drug interactions or side effects.
 
And where is that muscle holder? Is everything ok, dear? It’s too long without your wonderful updates, and I am all worried here, if you didn’t forget your water. =) Hope, you’re fine. Take care!

Wednesday 5/4 weight is still the same

Breakfast was 2 apples snack mid morning was another 2 small apples and I had a pretend coffee with almond milk, plus water during the day, dinner was home made cannelloni with tomatoes form the garden and the top was made with ricotta (One of jamie Oliver super food recipes) very nice I also snacked on 6 licorice pieces

45 zumba, 5 x 25 pilates machine 20 minutes on the vibration machine

Thursday 6th April
I might as well do todays post here ;) because my weight is........... drum roll........ 92.5:confused: really yep ! still no gain so thats okay I think your right April I need to jump start things... today I had an egg and bacon sand which lunch was a tuna sand which both on hi fibre bread so so good, I snacked on 6 licorice and had 3 squares of chocolate and 2 rice crackers, dinner was veggies with steak and a home made tomato and pepper sauce plus water... no coffee today

Exercise ive done 20 on the vibration machine, 5 x 25 pilates machine, 35min zumba and 1 x plank 35 sec

If my weight doesn't change tomorrow I will have either a rest on Saturday from exercise or I have a voucher for a little treat so might do that... I will see

Ha ha lets blame that muscle im working on it the other day when I got off the Pilates machine the tops of legs at the front were rock hard... pity the rest isnt like that and it didn't last that long :confused:

Yes that tea is a must!! I will do that on Saturday... I got on the scales twice this morning thinking it might change.... nope... so I will one of the suggestions you have mentioned... I have read about eating eating apples for a day something I have said I will do one day... that's another option too... my stomach has blown up a little too... but lack of bowel movement might be doing that... period is due next week too :(

Oh well... like you said ive lost 13kg Im very happy and even happier the scales are not going up... so I am okay bit confused as to why it hasn't moved but no use worrying I will just keep going things will change when they are meant too... besides I can work on building more muscles in different areas :cool:

I'm finding I'm full of beans and my mind is so focused at work. Is this part of duromine?

I take the Duromine between 5 to 6am. I don't want to take it any earlier as I wanted the effect during the day not the night but after another night with Max 3 hours sleep I can't do it anymore. My whole body feels like I am in trauma. Every muscle aches, I've stuck to between 1000 to 1200 calories each day this second week, exercised minimum of 30 mins each day up to an hour, varied with walking and swimming, no weight loss, no real sleep.
 
Quick post for today... why because I am still 92.5 LOL wow that's like 6 days in a row... so instead of shaking things up on the weekend looks like I have done that today

No exercises today... mainly because Ive been busy.. plus I thought I was going to get a migraine earlier, so ive been making Easter eggs cleaning carpet, took ages ( it stopped woring ... so then tried to work out how to fix it as it stopped spraying)... so had to do some by hand lucky it still sucked the water up... arhhhh being such nice weather I also washed outside cushions for Easter that was easy... high pressure cleaner..:laughing:

Today I had 2 apples and yogurt for breakfast plus macca tea and pretend coffee, chicken for lunch with a hot cross bun umm no not together o_Oyummo, dinner was fish and chips plus hot cross bun, plus water during the day and im off to bed with a bottle too.. lets see if that helps, change the weight... .. but it went away;)..... feeling very tired now so I am off to bed maybe watch some telly and get ready for another busy day tomorrow except I will start it off with some exercises :cool:

I am so sorry you are going through such horrible fight with side effects. it's double hard sine you see no weight changes. you might need either to skip a day of two of Duromine, or continue a couple more days to let it start working. I would stop for a couple of days, if I were you. fatigue is never a good thing.
if you will continue, monitor your hydration. you can also try alternating daily caloric intake.

I hope so much that you will start feeling better... fingers crossed for you!
 
Today I had to ask my partner to jump on the scales just to make sure they are working:confused: because I am still the same weight 92.5 but I wont complain I haven't gained... now its not long till its that time of the month again so I can expect some bloat soon :(

I didn't take a tablet this morning, my dog wasn't well last night and had me up most of it (scratching)... she still isn't 100% as she hasn't eaten so I am hoping its just a bug, I said to my partner she will do anything to get out of a bath.. because that was on my to do list today as I fear its the last hot day till later in the year... bye bye heat:(

Today has been another very busy day which started at 6am, making more Easter eggs (first time I have made them now I am trying to make everyone there own for the day I hope they all join together okay:rolleyes:)and cleaning, my arms had another good workout scrubbing the carpet took me ages to do and I just did the main areas my dog likes to sit/lay she has a bed (nice and soft for her bones) in every room yet she will sit on the carpet sometimes?...

Exercise wise I rode 3 km 30 fast 10 slow on the higher number I also did 20 on the vibration machine, I increased my weight for my arms on the pilates machine so l did 3 x 15 and 2 x 25 for my legs.

Breakfast was a fruit bun toasted, lunch was a sausage in bread, and dinner a toasted sandwich, snack was a sugar free choc and frozen raspberry milk drink with a spoonful of low fat ice cream... gosh it was sooo good...I do miss milk. I also had a sugar free soft drink and my water, and approx a tablespoon of the chocolate...

I am looking forward to zumba tomorrow... I will have a tea tonight.. weather is suppose to be bad tomorrow so I am glad I have most of outside done...

Sunday 9th April,

Weight is the same except yesterday it fluctuated 92.3 92.4 before it went bang 92.5... today was 92.5 92.6 then bag 92.5:rolleyes:

Breakfast was a poached egg slice of toast some spinach and a bit of hollandaise sauce, lunch was 2 apples, plus water during the day/night not as much as I normally do :( so will need to improve on that tomorrow and dinner was a curry and some rice and an apple after dinner (these apples are small.. but tasty;))

I have done 45 min Zumba, pilates machine 4 x 18 (2 bands) arms, 30 x 2 (4 bands) legs, 2 km on the bike 30 fast 10 slow, I will do a 35 sec plank before bed

What a weekend.... only 7 more sleeps till the Easter bunny comes.... he will be leaving the eggs out the front for my nieces and nephew so he doesn't get caught o_O

Yep, Duromine can make you feel more focused. I didn’t have this effect, though many many people report of being more focused.

How’s that pool doing? =))) Have a great new week!

Non stop weekend on the go go go!

Lots of walking done this week. 5km each day

Back at the pools this morning and did an awesome cardio class 45mins!!! Woop woop

Due to being on the go I ate a lot of fruit but back on point today

Breakie banana peanut butter on toast
Snack green tea
Lunch ham and salad in a spinach wrap and 1 mandarin
Snack 1/2 an apple with peanut butter
Dinner bacon 2eggs 1/2 a kumara (sweet potato)

Weighing in tomorrow morning so looking forward to that

Hi Monika,

I have had mine for years one of those things I tried it a couple of years ago and then with trying to conceive I couldn't use it... so thats why I am glad to have this time I use it to loosen my muscles etc, as for toning l cant tell because I am doing other things to, I do feel that it helps I would suggest that you try one first as it can make your head shake or it makes some feel nauseous etc you need to stand a certain way to ensure the head doesn't go crazy with the shakes... its not for everyone.. that is why I suggest you try one first... it certainly does shake things up, it helped me from getting really sore muscles etc.. maybe look for a second hand one and ask to try before you buy?

I cant say it has helped tone things as I am using the recumbent bike, I think I would recommend the pilates machine (i only got a cheap one) for all over tone as you can tone multiple parts of your body plus you are building muscle without straining as in I can squat but couldn't do that standing etc the vibro machine wont to that I also have my first muscle tiny one but its there and my arms will only get better with time that is from the pilates machine as i havent used my hand weights in a month or so... I hope that helps and good luck with your weight loss

Oh lucky you... if you come past here around 2 you might see him out the front LOL
