Hello, dearest Dee!!! I’ve been out of the forum life for some days.. caught a really bad flu… slowly getting back to life…

You have so many news! So the surgery is tomorrow… I wish you all the best and will keep my fingers crossed that everything goes perfectly well!

Please, stop worrying about getting back to old habits. This is not what matters now. Right now, all you have to think of is getting better after the surgery. I am sure you will be able to get back on track in no time. Your strength brought you so far already. Everything will be ok.

Take care, dear, and take enough time to get better. You know that many people care for you, and I am sure each and every out here will wish you a fast recovery! Best of luck!

Hi April, Oh sorry to read you had been unwell, they say this year will be the worst for flu's I hope your feeling heaps better;)

Quick and brief post to say surgery went well... pain medication has meant I am off duromine till I am off them, Im so lucky as one of the meds was tramadol the other i had a choice of taking was endone (along with another pain killer)... so I took the endone along with another pain relief and when i called the pharmacist 3 days later he said do not combine those 2 ...Tramadol and duromine (some toxicity it causes) lucky I was only given one while in hospital I ended up being in for 3 days.... and they knew i was taking duro 2 days before surgery... so someone was watching over me:laughing: I have read of people taking duromine with no supervision or advice and just goes to show... you just never know what serious side affects could happen without medical guidance/advice... its just not worth it... keep searching till you find a dr that is willing to assist and monitor you.. that is a journey worth having

Okay starting to feel normal and have started to cut the pain killers... l have 2 weeks off work and a follow up is due then... not sure how much they weighed but they were pretty big and needed to be cut into smaller pieces... great news all this bed rest and over eating on crap hasn't put on weight or maybe those fibroids weighed a kilo? because my weight is the same 90.8... just the inspiration i need to pull myself back into line plus less pain killers might mean i feel a bit more it also means less side affects

So hunger has been crazy especially because of the nausea so thats why ive started to cut the pain killers im on bed rest anyway (i get up to eat) and hope to start moving more this week:laughing:

Wishing everyone well on the weight loss journey... im off for some rest I dont want to sit for long due to where some of the cuts are so I might weigh in 2 days and do an update:laughing:

Heeeeeey!!! Thank you so much for being so brave and strong to write. Been extremely unwell, but already feel A LOT better and ready for action! =)) though, of course, I was capable of keeping my fingers crossed for your surgery. =)) So happy it went well and so happy they extracted all the bad things out of you.

Dear Dee, rest as long as you need. You don’t need to overload your body. You know pretty well that you will get back to your usual routine when you are 100% well. Slowly, follow your doc’s recommendations. I am sure they told you how you should get back to normal activity. So, don’t force it.

Very well done about these pain killers… you go through this journey in a very conscientious way and it’s great you didn’t have to suffer from any drug interactions.

Sending you rays of recovery and health! Get well soon, dear! You know you can do it all!!!

Thank you so much for the lovely words!!! Ahhh… music to my ears, everything to my everything. =)) Mwaaah!

Cheers!

I guess, you’re off Duromine… either way, I wish you luck and a happy day!

Monday 8th

Well time to get my head back into lose weight mode best way I can, outside is sealed but inside not feeling sore and tired that means no exercise yet! well maybe some slow movements bit like the sloath on zootopia LOL dont want to cause any tears etc while Im healing and that will happen if I move too fast or lift anything to heavy etc so I pace myself, I carried out some weeds cut some pumpkin vine back and did a couple of leg moves also made a terrine... go me I am taking laxettes ... I was struggling before but after the operation it was worse the pharmacist said the medication would do that and while medication is causing it to keep taking them, different if you just can't but I have always been regular so I am thinking it may be something I will take while I am on duromine for the next month maybe 2 then il be off and doing IVF :)

Okay weight 91.6... not good but really not bad either considering I have been very naughty chocolate was my friend when feeling nauseous from the medication etc I did try cheese etc but wasnt the same Im afraid - goal is to cut this back this week on naughty snacks and increase my exercises Il die if my specialist said they weighed a kilo LOL that means ive put that on yikes and more

Breakfast crumpet with manuka honey, lunch 6 cristini sticks with beetroot dip also 2 slices of cheese, 4 small chocolates for snacks and some jelly beans, had a pretend coffee with some drinking choc and my water dinner was pasta beef

Tuesday hello 91.1 and welcome back duromine (dr gave me the all clear on Sunday)

Breakfast was a boiled egg a crumpet lunch was a ham sand which and dinner was chicken parma with veggies and boiled potato ive snacked on dates x 6 2 red kiwi fruit, and 2 small squares of chocolate plus my water

10 leg bends kicking my legs towards my butt and 5 lifting my knee in front
Dee:)
