Hi MissyAnne,MissyAnne said:Hi Shelley,
My Dr does have me on a list to see a nutritionist but I’ve yet to hear from them. The wait times I find for follow up appointments and especially any specialist is extremely long here. I will kick up a bit of fuss next appointment as the last two she said she’d follow up on getting it scheduled.
I don’t have horrible eating habits, we eat healthy but I crave carbs when I’m stressed. Potatoes, Pasta, Breads and maybe salty chips. I’m not into sweets which I guess is good, one less thing to worry about. Hopefully I can get my GP to understand this little boost goes along way in helping with cravings and getting back on a better way of eating. Getting habits set while on the medicine and having that kickstart.
Hi ShelleyShelleyBris said:Hi MissyAnne,
How are thing going, did you talk to your GP?
I know what you mean about Carbs, I love them, maybe a little too much, unfortunately I also have a sweet tooth, so double whammy. LOL
I have had zero lollies in 20 days, so yeah, and I am reducing my carbs a little bit, mostly for me it's about portion size. My husband is the cook in our house and he also serves, (I clean the insane mess he makes in the kitchen LOL )
So I am focusing on eating smaller size meals.
Cheers
Shelley
Hello, dear @Jessicalovejoy89Jessicalovejoy89 said:Hi all
I was just directed here from Facebook, on a Duro page.
I’m Jess!
I’m currently on 15mg and started in August of last year. My starting weight was 114.9kgs and as of today I’m 86.9kgs. I’m flabbergasted. I’ve always struggled with my weight, so it’s crazy to see how far I’ve come!
Anyway, it’s great to be here! I look forward to chatting with you all and sharing any advice or info I can
❤️
Woooow! That's fantastic! What is your final goal?Jessicalovejoy89 said:Hi all

I’m currently 85kg and 159cm tall- my weight has been slowly piling on for a few years and I’ve hit a low point and want to start living a healthier life
My goal weight is 65kg by the end of November so I’d love to hear from people who have managed to do something similar
